| Lutheran Family and Children’s Services is seeking to hire a compassionate and experienced mental health professional to serve in the position of Director of School Counseling. Task requirements of this position will include professional supervision of eleven counselors embedded in fourteen elementary and middle school buildings and in four high school buildings. All program schools are located in St. Louis County. |
Duties: |
| This position is responsible for program implementation and monitoring. Duties of this position will also include providing counselor in-servicing, evaluating counselor performance, supervising the completion of professional paperwork, ensuring the maintenance of the highest ethical standards, monitoring the usage of program funding, assisting in grant writing and other fund seeking tasks, managing the collection of outcome measures, and preparation of grant reports. |
Qualifications: |
Requirements for this position include a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology with a LCSW or LPC license from the state of Missouri; seven years or more of experience working in a therapy environment; and four years or more of experience in the supervision of mental health professionals.
