Description: |
| Under general supervision, the Electronic Hardware Engineer designs electronic security products following specified design, operations and cost constraints. |
Duties: |
*Designs and draws schematics using a CAD system.
*Creates PCB design from schematics using CAD.
*Selects parts and compiles parts list for product design and ECO release.
*Debugs prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other test equipment.
*Designs for Manufacturing (DFM) to meet requirements for on-site electronic manufacturing facility.
*Certified completed designs for compliance submittals: UL, FCC, etc.

Qualifications: |
*Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent work experience.
*Microprocessor, digital, analog and software design and troubleshooting experience.
*Schematic capture / PCB layout software experience.
*Power supply design experience desired.
*Experience with TCP/IP, Ethernet and data networks, telecommunication/telephony helpful.
