Duties: |
IAI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop innovative "gadgetized" web-based analytics and visualization applications based on emerging business requirements. The candidate should be able to design and implement web-based interfaces and their supporting business and persistence tiers. Also, the individual must be able to extend and improve back end middle-tier layers. The candidate will work in a cloud-based development environment with a dynamic team and an emphasis on a continuous integration process, unit testing, and peer reviews. The candidate must be experienced in the following technologies: • Flex/Flash • J2EE/Java, JSP, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Servlets • Jetty, JBOSS, Tomcat Windows and Unix environments - Web Services desired • Spring Framework • UML (ability to read and write class diagrams, sequence diagrams, understand use cases, etc.) Experience with the following technologies are a plus: • Oracle (Preferable Oracle 11g) • SQL • Unit testing (JUnit) • Source versioning system (Subversion is a plus) |
Qualifications: |
Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years software development, object-Oriented design and programming, including design, coding, and testing Experience with Java, C/C++, Java, .NET languages (C#, VB.NET, etc.), or Visual Basic Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Candidates who have demonstrated an outstanding level of academic achievement are highly desired Requires ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve customer and company goals Strong communication and interpersonal skills Past experience with configuration and installation of COTS products and development tools a plus Experience with Web Services a plus
