Description: |
Under general supervision, the Software Engineer designs software and electronic products following specified design, operations and cost restraints.
|
Duties: |
*Designs, writes, maintains, tests and debugs software.
*Uses emulators and other tools for software development.
*Participates in formal code inspection process with various product lines.
*Work with other staff and colleagues to clarify details and design test plans; record these in specification documents.
*Continuously strives to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements.

Qualifications: |
*Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
*Microprocessor, digital, analog and software design and troubleshooting experience.
*Design experience with C/C++, assembly language, Java, and Visual Studio.
*Experience with TCP/IP, Ethernet and data networks, telecommunication/telephony.
