On an as needed basis, Flexible Workforce (FWF) team members will assist in providing Legendary Service in Water & Fire Restoration, Residential & Commercial Carpet Cleaning, Rug Cleaning, and Reconstruction Services.
The purpose of this program is to utilize a flexible work force that is on call in on an as needed basis. Each FWF team member will be contacted when there are hours to be worked. FWF team members will be assigned hours based on their previous quality of work along with their availability. The goal is for the best FWF team members to work into a full-time position with Woodard Cleaning & Restoration.

Duties: |
Essential Functions
Assist in the loading, unloading, set up and tearing down of necessary equipment
Perform carpet cleaning under direct supervision, including (but not limited to) vacuuming, hand shampooing carpet edges, & brushing.
Perform basic cleaning tasks in the field or at the ContentCare Center under direct supervision, including (but not limited to) cleaning of customer’s items, sweeping and mopping of floors, washing ceilings and walls, applying OSHA approved solutions, extracting water using portable an truck-mounted equipment, and clearing debris from the job site
Provide reconstruction support to the carpenters in the reconstruction division
Assist Crew Chief with inventorying, packing, and moving of furniture and household items
While cleaning customer’s rugs, place rugs in rug bins and retrieves them as necessary, groom rugs, apply cleaning solutions to rugs, lift rugs into the drying room and retrieve them utilizing the "Ups" and "Downs" conveyor system, and inspect and wrap finished rugs

Qualifications: |
Majority of the work is performed in the field (residential and commercial sites)
Some work is performed at the warehouse and at the home office (vehicle maintenance, content cleaning rug cleaning etc)
Availability for overtime is mandatory. Hours may include weekends, evenings, and late nights
Must be able to lift 100 pounds in front of body and overhead with assistance
Must be able to crawl/work on hands and knees for short assignments and over a continuous period of time
Must be able to work on a ladder with hands over head for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to physically tolerate solutions that fall within approved OSHA standards
Must be able to squat while bearing weight
Must possess average visual and auditory acuity
Must be able to push/pull equipment up to 100 pounds
Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
Core Competencies
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Ability to take direction
Ability to work the necessary hours to include some nights, weekends, holidays and out of town
Ability to pass a Drug Screen
Ability to meet all physical requirements
Computer Skills / Data entry experience a plus
Analytical thinking / ability to assess situations before they arise
